ABOUT THE CENTER
about the center
Since its opening in 1982, the Blount County-Oneonta Agri-Business Center has served as the venue for many exciting events including:
The indoor arena measures 26,500 sq. ft. and can be heated. Its dirt floor is 100 ft x 265 ft and can be powdered for livestock events or packed for an event that requires a hard surface. Bleachers flank each side of the arena and have a seating capacity of 3000. Folding chairs (250) and tables are also available. A stage is also available and measures 18 ft x 35 ft. Approximately six acres are available for parking. For information on renting the facilities for an event, click here.
The Center is governed by an autonomous volunteer board of directors composed of representatives from various organizations throughout Blount County. Currently, the Executive Director is the only full-time, paid staff member. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
